Girls Fall Volleyball Teams
The Bucks’ girls have enjoyed a lot of success in just two seasons. In 2024, our middle school girls finished in first place at the Michigan Homeschool State Tournament!

2026 Registration
- Registration is required before evaluations. We use PlayMetrics for registration.
- Multiple payment options/schedules are available.
- Evaluation day, time and location for each group are specified during registration.

2026 Game Schedule
- Weekday games competing against other homeschool programs and private schools.
- Home games are at Woodside Bible Church in Troy, MI.
- Saturday tournaments (1-2) played during the season.
- 2026 Homeschool State Tournament is held Oct 29-31, 2026.

Volleyball FAQs
What days and times are practices?
Varsity and JV practices three times a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 6-8pm. Mon/Thurs at Woodside Bible Church Troy. Tuesday at Unified Volleyball Rochester Hills. JV may practice slightly earlier on Tuesdays.
Middle School practices twice a week, 4- 5:30pm Monday and Thursday at Woodside Bible Church Troy.
Schedules may change depending on coach and gym availability.
What is the registration process?
Registration closes June 21, 2026. Fill out your athletes’ information and select a payment option. You can pay in full, choose a split payment, or contact us for an alternative payment schedule. During/After registering, note the dates and times of evaluations and plan to attend. If you cannot make the evaluation date or make up date, please contact us at northoaklandbucks@gmail.com
What should I expect at evaluations?
During evaluations, coaches will run athletes through a series of drills, watching for attitude, effort and skill. Players have indicated their intention to play for the Bucks by registering and will be placed on a grade and age appropriate team. Teams will be communicated within two weeks of evaluations.
How do you handle team placement?
We have middle school and high school teams. Our high school V team enters tournaments as 18U, our JV enters as 16U.
High school athletes will be evaluated and placed on JV or V. If we have enough players for three teams, we will split into an A and B team.
With enough players, middle school teams are split into two teams – typically a 6/7th and 7/8th. We can create A and B teams if needed.
When will I hear back about team placement?
The second week of July
Will parents need to volunteer?
Yes, we will ask parents to volunteer in some manner during the season. Line judges, scorekeeper, scoreboard, admissions, coordinating a team banquet, coordinating senior night are all ways you can volunteer.
